The best part of coming back to the USA is listening to the backlog of hot jams you’ve missed out on. When you follow new jams too closely, it’s easy to get discouraged and adopt an “everything sucks” attitude. Everyone knows the average jam isn’t good. But when you come back, somehow all the “crap” gets filtered out and you find a endless supply of “goodjams.”

I’ve been finding kinda redundant to actually download mp3s. It’s so much much easier just to stream something on a website or play a music video in the background. I don’t really have the need to “own” a file anymore. As long as it’s available online somewhere, isn’t that all you need? Playing jams from the bottom toolbar of Hype Machine is all I need right now!
